Tara grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. Go Chiefs! She loved playing softball growing up. Her dad was her coach, and she played on several competitive teams. Tara also enjoys going on family camping trips and being outdoors.

Tara went to college at the University of Kansas receiving her undergraduate degree in Communication Studies and minored in Sociology. She later went back to school for her Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. Her favorite subjects were Business and Accounting.

She knew from a very young age that she loves numbers. She loves tracking her own finances, and it felt like the perfect opportunity to do what I love for a living.

Tara is married to her husband Robbie, and she has a son named Connor. Her husband is a superintendent for a local home builder. Her son loves all things football and enjoys playing on his soccer team in the Fall. She loves spending time at home with her family and enjoys cooking for them. Tara also likes being outdoors, going for hikes or walks with her family and two dogs.

In Tara’s free time she likes to read nonfiction books and listen to podcasts. She is always learning something new. Tara can say the alphabet backwards, which she learned in the second grade, and it stuck with her.
