Sarah Coker

Business Development Supervisor

“Listening first so every client gets connected to the right solution.”

Sarah Coker is a Business Development Supervisor at WCG who helps guide clients through important operational steps such as forming businesses and launching services. With a responsive communication style and a practical mindset, Sarah focuses on understanding what each client needs before helping them move forward with confidence.

Professional Background & Expertise

At WCG, Sarah manages a wide range of business development activities, including forming and dissolving entities, handling S corporation elections, coordinating BAS and tax planning launches, processing address changes, filing annual reports, managing disengagements, and updating business records with the Secretary of State. Her work supports a smooth start and ongoing structure for client engagements.

Sarah particularly enjoys working with CRNAs, especially when helping them establish professional businesses. Having developed strong expertise in this area, she brings both efficiency and confidence to the formation process while remaining equally enthusiastic about supporting the diverse clients she meets.

Education

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and has completed additional coursework and certifications related to military finance. Her educational background supports the analytical and operational perspective she brings to business development.

Client-Focused Philosophy

Sarah believes effective service begins with listening carefully to what clients need. Once she understands their goals, she works to either provide the solution directly or connect them with the right expert. By staying responsive and keeping clients informed throughout the process, she helps create an experience grounded in clarity and trust.

Life Beyond the Office

Sarah grew up in the small town of Defiance, Ohio, where she enjoyed reading, camping, and watching her favorite shows. Today, much of her time outside of work centers around family life—playing with her children, cheering them on at football and basketball games, and hosting friends for seafood boils, one of her favorite meals.

She is married and shares a lively household with her four children along with two dogs and a snake, making for an energetic and full home environment.

Family at the Center

Sarah’s hobbies naturally reflect whatever her children are passionate about at the moment, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. Whether on the sidelines at a game or spending time together at home, she values the connection and energy that family life brings.

Our Amazing Team Members

Wanna Talk About Your Small Business?

Please use the form below to tell us a little about yourself, and what you have going on with your small business or 1099 contractor gig. WCG CPAs & Advisors are small business CPAs, tax professionals and consultants, and we look forward to talking to you!

We typically schedule a 20-minute complimentary quick chat with one of our Partners or Senior Tax Professionals to determine if we are a good fit for each other, and how an engagement with our team looks. Tax returns only? Business advisory? Tax prep, and more importantly tax strategy and planning?

Should we need to schedule an additional consultation, our fee is $250 for 40 minutes. Fun! If we decide to press forward with a Business Advisory or Tax Patrol Services engagement, we will credit the consultation fee towards those services.

Appointments are typically held through Microsoft Teams and are scheduled on weekdays during the work day. Yes, we can easily accommodate nights and weekends, but those are reluctantly agreed to after some eye-rolling and complaining. Additionally, our schedules are more compressed during tax season (who would have thought, right?).

Shockingly we will return all appointment requests via email with 24-36 hours weather-permitting, or perhaps a phone call (if the moment strikes us). No black holes here! In a hurry, please call us at 719-387-9800.
