“Bringing discipline, curiosity, and attention to detail to every tax support task.”

Priya Patra is a member of the Tax Support team at WCG, where she assists with preparing binders and supporting documentation for both individual and business tax engagements. With a strong academic foundation and a growing interest in global accounting, Priya approaches her role with focus, responsibility, and a commitment to learning.

Professional Background & Expertise

At WCG, Priya focuses on preparing Form 1040 binders for individuals while assisting with business binders and related documentation. Her work helps ensure financial records are organized and ready for the tax preparation process, supporting accuracy across engagements.

Though early in her professional journey, Priya brings enthusiasm and discipline to her responsibilities. She is motivated by the opportunity to apply analytical skills in real-world settings while contributing to processes that help clients receive dependable service.

Education

Priya earned her Bachelor of Commerce, building a solid foundation in accounting and finance. Taxation and Audit were favorite subjects, offering both practical application and a strong framework for disciplined financial work. A taxation professor who simplified complex concepts played an important role in inspiring her career path.

She is currently pursuing the ACCA designation, reflecting her commitment to expanding her expertise and developing a long-term career in global accounting and taxation.

Client-Focused Philosophy

Priya centers her approach on clarity and accuracy. By understanding each client’s situation and maintaining careful documentation, she works to provide support that is both compliant and practical while helping make complex matters easier to understand.

Life Beyond the Office

Priya grew up in Nadiad, a town known for its culture and sense of community. As a child, she enjoyed cycling through local streets, reading storybooks, and exploring new interests—experiences that nurtured her curiosity and creativity.

Outside of work, she enjoys dancing and drawing as creative outlets, participates in spiritual activities that help her stay grounded, and appreciates opportunities to explore new places. She also spends time watching motivational content that encourages both personal and professional growth.

Creativity Meets Discipline

Priya takes pride in her ability to balance creativity with structure—a combination that supports both thoughtful expression and methodical work. This dual strength continues to guide her as she builds expertise in the accounting profession.

Our Amazing Team Members

Wanna Talk About Your Small Business?

Please use the form below to tell us a little about yourself, and what you have going on with your small business or 1099 contractor gig. WCG CPAs & Advisors are small business CPAs, tax professionals and consultants, and we look forward to talking to you!

We typically schedule a 20-minute complimentary quick chat with one of our Partners or Senior Tax Professionals to determine if we are a good fit for each other, and how an engagement with our team looks. Tax returns only? Business advisory? Tax prep, and more importantly tax strategy and planning?

Should we need to schedule an additional consultation, our fee is $250 for 40 minutes. Fun! If we decide to press forward with a Business Advisory or Tax Patrol Services engagement, we will credit the consultation fee towards those services.

Appointments are typically held through Microsoft Teams and are scheduled on weekdays during the work day. Yes, we can easily accommodate nights and weekends, but those are reluctantly agreed to after some eye-rolling and complaining. Additionally, our schedules are more compressed during tax season (who would have thought, right?).

Shockingly we will return all appointment requests via email with 24-36 hours weather-permitting, or perhaps a phone call (if the moment strikes us). No black holes here! In a hurry, please call us at 719-387-9800.
