Lana Rollins

Tax Preparer

“Preparing all types of tax returns with structure, consistency, and care.”

Lana Rollins is a Tax Preparer at WCG who brings decades of financial and accounting experience to her work. With a methodical approach and strong sense of organization, Lana focuses on delivering thorough, reliable returns while building meaningful client relationships.

Professional Background & Expertise

At WCG, Lana’s primary responsibility is preparing tax returns across a wide range of individual and corporate scenarios. After retiring from a long career in finance and accounting, she chose to continue contributing her expertise in a role that allows her to remain engaged in the work she values.

Lana approaches each return with diligence—asking thoughtful questions, gathering complete information, and ensuring no detail is overlooked. Her consistency and commitment to quality help clients feel confident that their filings are handled with care.

Education

Lana holds a Bachelor of Science with majors in Accounting and Finance. Courses such as Cost Accounting and Managerial Accounting were among her favorites, reinforcing the structured thinking that continues to guide her professional approach.

Client-Focused Philosophy

Lana values personal connection and often reaches out directly by phone or through individualized emails to explain what is needed for each return. Her goal is to create clarity while fostering long-standing relationships built on trust and respect.

Professional Values

  • Consistency
  • Diligence with no shortcuts
  • Honesty in all aspects of work
  • Respectful, relationship-focused service

Life Beyond the Office

Raised in rural Michigan, Lana developed an early appreciation for staying active outdoors. Today, she enjoys remodeling her home, swimming, working out, reading regularly, and tending to her backyard vegetable garden.

She is also deeply involved in her community, serving on the board of a local charity and dedicating time to cat rescue efforts—having helped socialize and rehome more than 100 cats over the years.

A Patient Advocate

One of Lana’s more unique accomplishments is her ability to socialize highly feral cats—an effort that requires patience, persistence, and empathy. That same steady dedication carries into her professional work, where careful attention and follow-through remain central to her approach.

Our Amazing Team Members

Wanna Talk About Your Small Business?

Please use the form below to tell us a little about yourself, and what you have going on with your small business or 1099 contractor gig. WCG CPAs & Advisors are small business CPAs, tax professionals and consultants, and we look forward to talking to you!

We typically schedule a 20-minute complimentary quick chat with one of our Partners or Senior Tax Professionals to determine if we are a good fit for each other, and how an engagement with our team looks. Tax returns only? Business advisory? Tax prep, and more importantly tax strategy and planning?

Should we need to schedule an additional consultation, our fee is $250 for 40 minutes. Fun! If we decide to press forward with a Business Advisory or Tax Patrol Services engagement, we will credit the consultation fee towards those services.

Appointments are typically held through Microsoft Teams and are scheduled on weekdays during the work day. Yes, we can easily accommodate nights and weekends, but those are reluctantly agreed to after some eye-rolling and complaining. Additionally, our schedules are more compressed during tax season (who would have thought, right?).

Shockingly we will return all appointment requests via email with 24-36 hours weather-permitting, or perhaps a phone call (if the moment strikes us). No black holes here! In a hurry, please call us at 719-387-9800.
