Kate grew up in Evanston, WY, which is on the border of Utah. She loved playing sports, especially basketball.  She attended community college in Wyoming for two years and then finished her accounting degree at Dakota Wesleyan University in South Dakota in the Spring of 2023. She has worked hard to learn both the financial and tax side of accounting and she has a passion for both.

Kate is married to a wonderful man names Jake. They have a dog names Opie, who is a beagle-corgi mix.  They are both into sports, so you can usually find them watching, playing or talking about sports. Kate also loves taking morning walks with her dog and reading a good book before bed.
