Jolene Pike

Payroll Supervisor

“Helping small businesses and teams turn payroll headaches into smooth, reliable processes.”

Jolene Pike is a Payroll Supervisor at WCG who leads a dedicated team responsible for delivering accurate, dependable payroll services. With a practical leadership style and strong commitment to client care, Jolene focuses on creating a payroll experience that feels organized, responsive, and stress-free for the businesses she supports.

Professional Background & Expertise

At WCG, Jolene oversees payroll operations, guiding her team as they establish payroll accounts with multiple processing providers, set up payroll tax accounts across the United States, manage tax notices, and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. Her leadership helps maintain consistency behind the scenes so clients can operate with confidence.

Jolene entered the payroll field after beginning her career in education, bringing with her strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a people-first perspective. She finds the work especially rewarding because reliable payroll supports both business stability and employee well-being.

Education

Jolene holds a master’s degree in Elementary Education and later earned a bookkeeping certificate, which introduced her to payroll and set the foundation for her current career path.

Client-Focused Philosophy

Jolene believes payroll should feel straightforward rather than overwhelming. Through clear communication and proactive problem-solving, she works to simplify the process so business owners can focus their energy on running their organizations.

Life Beyond the Office

Jolene grew up splitting time between Colorado Springs and Wray, Colorado, balancing city life with the calm of a small-town environment. Much of her childhood was spent outdoors—4-wheeling, skiing, and helping with hands-on projects—which sparked a lasting appreciation for winter sports and an active lifestyle.

Today, she stays busy with her family, often attending sporting events, camping and hiking during the summer, skiing in the winter, and enjoying quieter moments through gardening. She also appreciates live music and hopes to learn an instrument someday.

A Career Built on Opportunity

Jolene’s professional journey began in the classroom before she made the thoughtful decision to pursue a more sustainable long-term career. When WCG recognized her potential and gave her the opportunity to transition into payroll, she embraced it fully—bringing dedication, gratitude, and a strong sense of purpose to the role she leads today.

Our Amazing Team Members

Wanna Talk About Your Small Business?

Please use the form below to tell us a little about yourself, and what you have going on with your small business or 1099 contractor gig. WCG CPAs & Advisors are small business CPAs, tax professionals and consultants, and we look forward to talking to you!

We typically schedule a 20-minute complimentary quick chat with one of our Partners or Senior Tax Professionals to determine if we are a good fit for each other, and how an engagement with our team looks. Tax returns only? Business advisory? Tax prep, and more importantly tax strategy and planning?

Should we need to schedule an additional consultation, our fee is $250 for 40 minutes. Fun! If we decide to press forward with a Business Advisory or Tax Patrol Services engagement, we will credit the consultation fee towards those services.

Appointments are typically held through Microsoft Teams and are scheduled on weekdays during the work day. Yes, we can easily accommodate nights and weekends, but those are reluctantly agreed to after some eye-rolling and complaining. Additionally, our schedules are more compressed during tax season (who would have thought, right?).

Shockingly we will return all appointment requests via email with 24-36 hours weather-permitting, or perhaps a phone call (if the moment strikes us). No black holes here! In a hurry, please call us at 719-387-9800.
