“Focused on helping create a tax experience that’s both high-quality and smooth from start to finish.”

Gavin Schneider is a member of the Tax Support team at WCG, where he is developing his expertise while learning the processes that support accurate, well-organized tax work. With a strong work ethic and a naturally analytical mindset, Gavin is committed to helping deliver a client experience that feels seamless, dependable, and thoughtfully managed.

Professional Background & Expertise

At WCG, Gavin supports the tax team by learning the operational side of tax preparation and assisting with the behind-the-scenes workflows that help ensure accuracy and efficiency. His goal is to contribute to a process that is organized, responsive, and as stress-free as possible for clients.

Gavin has a growing interest in rental properties, drawn to both the financial strategy and the transformation involved in improving a property. He appreciates the tangible impact thoughtful planning can have and looks forward to expanding his knowledge as he continues building his career in accounting.

Education

Gavin graduated as valedictorian and received Senior of the Year honors from Worland High School before pursuing a triple major in Accounting, Marketing, and Finance at the University of Wyoming. Throughout his academic journey, he has consistently gravitated toward math while also enjoying activities that keep him active and engaged.

Client-Focused Philosophy

Gavin approaches client support with an emphasis on clear communication and trust. He believes clients should feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the tax process and works to contribute to an environment where those expectations are consistently met.

Professional Values

  • Strong ethics
  • Hard work
  • Reliability
  • Consistently giving his best effort

Life Beyond the Office

Gavin grew up on a farm in Worland, Wyoming, where daily life centered on family, responsibility, and hard work. He spent much of his time playing football and soccer, riding anything with an engine, and enjoying the outdoors—experiences that helped shape his grounded, team-oriented perspective.

Outside of work, Gavin enjoys hands-on projects ranging from cabinet building to full restoration work, collecting and playing retro video games, and keeping up with sports—especially football.

A Musical Skill

Gavin is an accomplished trumpet player, a talent that reflects both discipline and creativity. Whether in music or in his professional growth, he brings focus, dedication, and a willingness to keep improving.

Our Amazing Team Members

Wanna Talk About Your Small Business?

Please use the form below to tell us a little about yourself, and what you have going on with your small business or 1099 contractor gig. WCG CPAs & Advisors are small business CPAs, tax professionals and consultants, and we look forward to talking to you!

We typically schedule a 20-minute complimentary quick chat with one of our Partners or Senior Tax Professionals to determine if we are a good fit for each other, and how an engagement with our team looks. Tax returns only? Business advisory? Tax prep, and more importantly tax strategy and planning?

Should we need to schedule an additional consultation, our fee is $250 for 40 minutes. Fun! If we decide to press forward with a Business Advisory or Tax Patrol Services engagement, we will credit the consultation fee towards those services.

Appointments are typically held through Microsoft Teams and are scheduled on weekdays during the work day. Yes, we can easily accommodate nights and weekends, but those are reluctantly agreed to after some eye-rolling and complaining. Additionally, our schedules are more compressed during tax season (who would have thought, right?).

Shockingly we will return all appointment requests via email with 24-36 hours weather-permitting, or perhaps a phone call (if the moment strikes us). No black holes here! In a hurry, please call us at 719-387-9800.
