Andrew grew up in Laramie, Wyoming but, spent the summers in the Wind River Mountains helping his family operate their outdoor outfitting business. He always enjoyed being in the mountains hunting, fishing, camping, hiking and riding horses.Andrew graduated from CU Boulder with a degree in accounting. He found his tax accounting classes to be more valuable than the rest of his classes.

Andrew is married and they have a daughter named Pia. They also have a corgi. When Andrew is not working, he enjoys the outdoors with his family and dog.
