Tax Supervisor
University of Colorado
Stuart Sigley, CPA, is a Tax Supervisor at WCG who focuses on helping real estate investors align rental strategies with income, depreciation, and long-term financial goals. With a natural aptitude for math and budgeting, Stuart brings a practical perspective that helps clients connect technical tax decisions to real-world outcomes.
At WCG, Stuart specializes in tax optimization for short-term and long-term real estate investors, supporting strategies that strengthen both current performance and future financial positioning. His work emphasizes thoughtful planning so clients can better understand how their real estate activity fits into the broader financial picture.
While his experience spans a variety of client types, Stuart is particularly drawn to the strategic nature of real estate taxation. He enjoys helping investors evaluate depreciation strategies, coordinate income planning, and make informed decisions that support long-term success.
Stuart is an accounting graduate from the University of Colorado Denver and is an active member of both the AICPA and the Colorado Society of CPAs.
He maintains his licensure through continuing professional education and anticipates focusing future coursework on topics related to short-term and long-term rental taxation.
Stuart brings a steady, practical approach to client relationships—breaking down complex issues, prioritizing what matters most, and helping clients move forward with clarity and confidence.
Stuart grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he spent much of his childhood mountain biking and white water rafting—early experiences that shaped his appreciation for the outdoors.
Today, he remains an avid snowboarder and rafter. One of his most memorable adventures was a self-guided rafting trip through Grand Canyon National Park after winning a permit through the state lottery—an experience he considers unforgettable. At home, he shares life with his girlfriend and their three dogs, including a therapy dog who supports her practice.
One of Stuart’s distinctive strengths is his ability to explain technical financial concepts in plain language without oversimplifying them. This skill helps clients fully understand their position while maintaining the nuance necessary for sound decision-making.
