Roberta Bertrand, EA, Tax Supervisor

Roberta considers herself a native to Colorado, having spent almost her whole life here. She even lives in the house she grew up in.

She was born into accounting. Her mom was a CPA and ran her own business. After her mom stepped back from the business, Roberta took it over and successfully ran it for more than 10 years. She merged with WCG to help her clients get more consultations and planning. Roberta specializes in contract accounting, QuickBooks and casualty losses. She was inspired to focus on casualty losses due to many people around her being affected by the Black Forest Fire in 2013.

Roberta has been married to her high school sweetheart for 24 years. They have four kids, two boys ages 17 and 18 and two girls, ages 22 and 23. Her youngest son is a cancer survivor, diagnosed at the age of 10 and enduring 3 ½ years of chemotherapy. He is her hero. They have one granddaughter and one grandson. They make her happier than anything else. She loves spending time with family and their two dogs and two cats. She hopes to have horses again soon.

She loves reading and listening to audio books. In fact, she listens to them during her commute to and from work every day. On the weekends she is at her son’s lacrosse games, hiking with the dogs or taking her grandkids to fun places.
