Thais grew up in northern New Jersey just outside of New York City. As a kid she loved to read, write stories, and paint. She went to college at the University of Wyoming in Laramie. She graduated with degrees in Family Studies and Spanish, as well as a minor in Technical Writing.

She began her career in non-profit management and helping low-income families. She eventually moved into the private sector and worked in banking. Thais fell into accounting after taking a temp-to-hire position and found that it was a great fit for her skill set. She loves that there is always a new challenge and that every deadline is an accomplishment.

Thais has a wonderful dog named Rusty who is part German Shepard and part Black & Tan Coonhound. He thinks of himself as a human and often takes himself for walks around the neighborhood. He even has his own treats at the neighbor’s house! When Thais is not at work she enjoys reading, watching movies, playing video games, and journaling. She also loves to go for long walks with Rusty and swim at the rec center.
