We see far too many crazy schemes and half-baked ideas from attorneys and wealth managers. In some cases, they are good ideas. In most cases, all the entities, layering and mixed ownership is only the illusion of precision. As Chris Rock says, just because you can drive your car with your feet doesn’t make it a good idea. In other words, let’s not automatically convert “you can” into “you must.”

Appointments are typically held through Microsoft Teams and are scheduled on weekdays during the work day. Yes, we can easily accommodate nights and weekends, but those are reluctantly agreed to after some eye-rolling and complaining. Additionally, our schedules are more compressed during tax season (who would have thought, right?).

Locations

Our Colorado Springs address is 2393 Flying Horse Club Drive, Colorado Springs, CO, 80921 which is located on the southwest corner of Highway 83 and the entrance into The Club at Flying Horse. This office is a 6,500 square foot single-user building designed and owned by Jason and Tina Watson, and leased back to WCG Inc. Come on by… we have a wine refrigerator located in our social lounge and a heated back patio. A Pac-Man / Galaga machine is “saved for later” in Jason’s Amazon shopping cart. He asked Tina back in September, the crazy idea hasn’t seasoned yet enough for Tina to say OK.

WCG also has an office in Mitchell, South Dakota. There is a good story there of course… Terra Plamp, our wonderful Training Supervisor, lives in Mitchell and works remotely. She recommended other people to join the WCG team, and boom! Moreover, they all wanted an actual office space versus working from home. As such, our South Dakota office is located at 300 North Main Street (sounds fun!), Mitchell, SD 57301.
