Michelle grew up in Greensboro, NC. She loved to play with Barbies and sing along with her favorite records. She attended a couple of semesters at Guilford Technical Community College.

When it comes to accounting, she just kind of fell into it when she worked at Time Warner Cable. She started out filing and microfilming their AP invoices, then she was promoted to payroll coordinator when they needed to fill the position. She has always enjoyed working with numbers and solving puzzles, so it was a natural fit for her. Her wheelhouse is payroll taxes, and she is fluent with all 50 states and IRS filings.

Michelle has been with her husband for 20 years and married 12 of those. They have two children, one son who is 26 and a daughter who is 21. They also have three Chihuahuas that run the house, Loki, Dobby and Chewy. Michelle and her husband love Marvel, Harry Potter, and Star Wars. They have lived in Colorado since May 2022, and are just in love with the state.  She loves to read mystery novels, watch crime shows, listen to music and play with the dogs. She is hoping to get into more outside activities now that she lives in such a great place.  You can also find her catching a UNC Tar Heel basketball game, or a professional football or hockey game from time to time.
