Kailey grew up in Santa Barbara, California and spent most of her time chasing lizards and playing with bugs. Her love for animals continued into her teenage years, where she worked summers at the local natural history museum caring for snakes, turtles, and frogs, and working part-time at a veterinary clinic. Kailey graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and minored in Anthropology. If you’re wondering how she ended up at a CPA firm, she attributes that to wanting to try something new—both in the location of her work and the work duties!

Kailey has been married to her partner, Alex, for 9 years and they enjoy spoiling their 13 nieces and nephews and chihuahua, Zoe! In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, identifying insects, and watching Alex moonlight as a magician and balloon animal artist!
